On 26 September 2025, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme themed “Sentuhan Kasih” was successfully organised through a strategic collaboration between Putra Medical Centre Alor Setar (PMC) and Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn. Bhd. (SADA) at Rumah Anak Yatim Amal Solehah, Pendang. The programme was aimed at reaching out to 38 orphans and underprivileged children, comprising 18 secondary school students and 20 primary school students, through a series of community activities and the presentation of contributions. As part of this initiative, a total cash donation of RM1,000 was channelled to two charitable homes, namely Rumah Anak Yatim Amal Solehah, Pendang and Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Yatim & Miskin Al Munirah.
The event was graced by the presence of YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Lim Kim Huat, Deputy Executive Chairman, who personally presented the donations and spent time engaging with the children and the management of the welfare homes. PMC also provided free health screenings for the children and attendees. More than 100 participants, including staff from PMC, SADA, and accompanying teachers, joined the programme, reflecting both organisations’ strong commitment to fostering closer ties with the local community.
PMC extends its highest appreciation to SADA for their willingness to collaborate in making this programme a success. We remain committed to continuing such initiatives in the future and are open to building strategic partnerships with other corporate or government agencies in the collective effort to enhance community well-being.
