Festive Photo Opportunities: Creating Lasting Memories At Putra Medical Centre

CAPTION: Managing Director, Dato’ Lee Gaik Cheng, stands proudly between two towering lions, with the God of Prosperity mascot leading the way to a prosperous and fortunate year ahead. Captured in this festive moment, Dato’ Lee embodies the spirit of good fortune and success. Surrounded by the powerful symbolism of the lions and the God of Prosperity, this scene reflects PMC’s ongoing commitment to health, wellness, and prosperity for all in the year to come.

As part of Putra Medical Centre’s pre-CNY celebration, we are excited to offer our guests the chance to capture memories through festive photo opportunities. These photo stations, adorned with traditional Chinese New Year decorations, will provide the perfect backdrop for patients, clients, and staff to snap pictures, share smiles, and create lasting memories of the celebration.

The festive decorations will include vibrant red lanterns, gold accents, and traditional Chinese symbols such as the snake, lucky coins, and lotus flowers. These beautiful backdrops not only enhance the celebratory mood but also serve as a reminder of the cultural richness that surrounds the Chinese New Year.

“We wanted to create an immersive environment where our guests could feel the joy and warmth of the season while taking home something tangible,” said Lee Yong Qian. “These photo stations provide a fun and meaningful way for everyone to commemorate this special time.”

Whether you’re taking a group photo with colleagues, capturing a moment with your family, or simply enjoying the festive atmosphere, these photo stations will allow guests to immortalise their experience at PMC. The photos will serve as a lasting reminder of the unity, joy, and community spirit that defines this year’s celebration.

“We believe that every moment spent together is precious,” Lee said. “By offering these photo opportunities, we’re giving people the chance to celebrate and remember the connections we’ve made—connections that go beyond healthcare and become a part of our collective story.”

These photo stations are not just for fun—they’re about celebrating the sense of belonging and togetherness that PMC fosters. They offer a way for people to reflect on the joy of the season and the positive energy that fills the air, as well as to cherish the memories created during this special celebration.

By capturing the beauty and spirit of the occasion, PMC hopes to inspire all who participate to carry that sense of joy and unity into the year ahead.

In this Year of the Snake, PMC’s Chinese New Year 2025 celebrations are centered around the core values of unity, prosperity, and transformation. As PMC Strategic Director Lee Yong Qian emphasised, the theme “Unity and Good Health for All” reflects the hospital’s commitment to building strong relationships within the community while promoting the well-being of all. This festive season, PMC is focused on fostering inclusivity, celebrating cultural traditions, and expressing gratitude for the continued support of patients, staff, and partners. The Year of the Snake symbolises wisdom, strength, and resilience—qualities that align with PMC’s vision for continued growth and improvement, both in healthcare and in nurturing the bonds that make the community stronger.
