Alor Setar Car Free Saturday

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) was delighted to participate in the Car Free Saturday programme organised by Majlis Bandaraya Alor Setar (MBAS), held at Dataran Medan Bandar, Alor Setar, last Saturday.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, PMC set up a health booth to provide health education and raise public awareness on the importance of preventive care and emergency preparedness. Throughout the programme, visitors had the opportunity to participate in a variety of health-focused activities, including:

  • Stop the Bleed Training
  • Physiotherapy Demonstrations
  • Basic Health Screening
  • Sales of Vitamins and Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications

The programme reflects PMC’s ongoing commitment to engaging with the community while promoting greater awareness of healthy living and the importance of appropriate emergency response. Through initiatives such as these, PMC continues to empower individuals with practical health knowledge that can make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
