Parents’ Day 2026

On 10 May 2026, Putra Medical Centre was honoured to celebrate Parents’ Day 2026 together with patients, family members, staff and invited guests in an atmosphere filled with warmth, joy and appreciation.

The event began with a special breakfast session for patients under our Nursing Care Services, followed by group exercise activities, musical performances in conjunction with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, as well as a cake cutting ceremony that added to the cheerful celebration. Every smile, embrace and shared moment made the occasion even more meaningful and memorable.

More than just a celebration, this programme served as a heartfelt tribute to the most important figures in our lives namely our mothers and fathers who continue to give unconditional love and support.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this meaningful event. Your presence truly made Parents’ Day 2026 a memorable and special occasion for all.

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) successfully conducted its Code Red Alert, Code Red Action, and Mass Casualty Training in collaboration with the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station, Alor Setar. The comprehensive simulation brought together multidisciplinary teams to evaluate emergency response procedures, enhance interdepartmental coordination, and strengthen communication during fire and mass casualty incidents, through realistic emergency scenarios and close collaboration with emergency responders.

Fire Safety Training Programme at the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station Alor Setar

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) continues to strengthen its commitment towards workplace safety and emergency preparedness through a Fire Safety Training Programme at the Alor Semadom Fire and Rescue Station, Alor Setar. The programme provided participants with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in fire prevention, emergency response procedures, fire extinguisher handling, and realistic emergency simulations and enhanced PMC's confidence, teamwork, and readiness in managing fire-related incidents effectively.
