Putra Medical Centre Goes Back To School For Tadika Ceria Bistari’s Dream Job Factory Initiative Created To Captivate The Young

The children of Tadika Ceria Bistari and their families participated in the Dream Job Factory sessions; the event was a chance to learn about various professions as well as healthy habits together.

Putra Medical Centre Alor Setar flexed its corporate social responsibility muscle during the ‘Dream Job Factory’ engagement led by Tadika Ceria Bistari on 22 January 2025 at the Dewan MBAS in Alor Setar. For the rollout, a medical team assembled by the healthcare provider stepped up to deliver free health screenings. These ensued while the school’s students and their families took part in the activities lined up. The effort was aimed at health awareness and inspiring bright minds to ponder their future careers.

Putra Medical Centre (PMC) Alor Setar recently collaborated with Tadika Ceria Bistari in conjunction with its Dream Job Factory graduation programme hosted in Alor Setar, Kedah on 22 January 2025. An initiative developed as an engaging immersion, its main goal was to spark the imaginations of children. Kids between the ages of three and six were encouraged to explore every possibility for their futures.

Doctors, Drills, and Dream Futures

Where the venue brimmed with vibrant energy, young attendees came dressed in costumes indicative of professions including firefighters, police officers, pilots, flight attendants, and healthcare specialists. The passion in the room was genuinely palpable, where confident kindergartners strutted their stuff. For Putra Medical Centre, the reason for our team’s presence went beyond the frolic of fun and games. Having our doctors and nurses on site created a tangible atmosphere of a tomorrow holding promise.

In terms of collaborative participation, this healthcare provider’s sense of fulfilment derived from the opportunity to further nurture the determination and dreams of tots and other slightly older scholars. Adding fuel to our motivational flame, PMC Alor Setar drove the meaning of our involvement deeper with the proffer of complimentary screenings to include blood pressure checks, glucose tests, and BMI assessments. This added layer aligned with the school’s mission to evoke awe and compassion in kids.

The Harmony of Hope and Health

On top of the multi-component evaluations done, the medical team provided personalised counselling tied to diet and nutrition. These sessions were designed to instill in the public a greater sense of health awareness as well as a firm understanding of the preservation of personal wellbeing for the long term. This segment was filled with meaningful interactions, smiles, laughter, and truly beneficial exchanges.

Commenting on impact, strategic director of PMC Alor Setar, Lee Yong Qian, called the event inspiring. “Seeing the children’s excitement as they explored various professions, including healthcare, was truly rewarding. Our hope was to plant the seed of inspiration and start them young, so that some of them might consider this noble field as a career option and possible path for their bright futures,” he shares.

Health Literacy Begins With Kindness

While the children entertained their curiosity and creativity, the adults in attendance benefitted from advantageous offerings made available through Putra Medical Centre Alor Setar. The presence of the medical team and dietitians ensured everyone left feeling cared for and better informed, health-wise. Through contributions like this, PMC continues to play a part in driving health literacy and education.

These simple acts of kindness and care go a long way in human healing fostering community warmth. For more information on PMC Alor Setar’s social responsibility footprint, do visit the official website.
